Our Building Process

Step 1—Initial meeting with your Design Consultant (Free, No Obligation)

Your Design Consultant will schedule in an initial appointment to meet with you to discuss your specific design and building requirements tailored to your budget. Please bring along any site information you may have available.

 

Step 2—Design Agreement

A fee will be payable to enable our team to gather appropriate information to enable your Design Consultant to prepare an accurate Quotation. The following preliminary works are undertaken.

  • Site Survey.
  • Preparation of Floor Plans and Site Plans as agreed at the initial design meeting.
  • 5 Star Energy Rating.
  • BAL (Bush Fire Attack Level) Assessment if required.
  • Preparation of the Final Quotation as per Site assessment outcome.
  • All necessary reports

 

Step 3 - Presentation of Quotation to Client

Your Design Consultant with schedule an appointment to present the plans and final quotation.

 

Step 4 - Acceptance of Quotation (Preliminary Agreement)

You are required to sign a Preliminary Agreement so as to move forward to the following:

  • A scheduled meeting with one of our Colour and Product Specialists
  • Electrical plans and working drawings are completed and readied for permit application
  • Your final contract price & deposit amount will be calculated if any changes are made.

 

Step 5 – Contract Appointment

An appointment is scheduled for all owners on the title to sign all of the following documents:

  • Product and project specifications
  • Working drawings
  • Prepared contracts

A deposit is required and payable.

Once all of the above have been completed, your project is prepared and an application for a permit is sent.

 

Step 6– Building permits

  • Receive building permit.
  • Ready to commence building works.

 

Step 7– We commence building

Foundations:

  • Dig stump holes; checked by building inspector & construct sub floor.
  • Numerous deliveries of materials to your site

15% of total payment due

 

Step 8– Frame

  • Wall & roof frame complete.
  • Checked by Building Inspector.

15% of total payment due

 

Step 9– Lock Up

  • Roof.
  • Windows.
  • Doors, external cladding & trims.

30% of total payment due

 

Step 10– Fit Out

  • Fixtures—Plastering, Painting etc
  • Fittings—Kitchen, bathroom and tiling etc

25% of total payment due

 

Final Step– Completion

  • Appliances installed
  • Final inspection
  • You check the building with us
  • We hand over ownership to you

Balance of payment due 10%
